Writing-desk of MultatuliThe Multatuli Museum contains an extensive documentation centre where over 3,000 books, over 1,000 brochures, about 10,000 cuttings and over 1,000 pictures, images and posters can be consulted, partly dating back to Multatuli's lifetime.

Almost all of this material is accessible by computer, as are the first seven parts of Multatuli's Volledige Werken (= Collected Works), the Multatuli Encyclopaedia and the Bible, to which Multatuli often referred. It is possible to search these corpuses for specific words or concepts.
